Setting Up Actinic With Shared SSL

So you want to use Tame The Web's secure server for your Actinic checkout.

First you will need to enable SSL in Actinic by ticking the box "Use SSL " under Business Settings and tick "Checkout Pages and Customer Login" Then click the button "Configure SSL Settings". You should now be in your network setup panel.

The easiest way to set this up is to copy the settings listed below, paste them into notepad and save it as sharedSSL.txt
Once you have done this then you can import the file under your network settings. Doing it this way can make it easier, but it will over write your normal settings aswell.

Right, you now have settings for both your site upload and settings for using our Shared SSL . Next you need to change them to match your domain. The standard tab of settings are exactly the same as your settings without using SSL . Change these settings to match your url, username, password and email settings.

Next click the SSL tab

You need to only change the the part after the ~ in the url, this needs to be your username for your cPanel , normally the first 8 characters of your primary domain name . Change the ftp user name and password, these are the same as you used under the standard tab.
