About Shared SSL |
|||||
Shared SSL
provides a method for secure, encrypted access to your web content without the need to obtain a dedicated IP address and your own SSL
Certificate. The way this would be done is to use Tame The Webs Shared SSL using his account username. So the url to the shared area would be https://128bit-secured.co.uk/~fredstoy It is that simple. There are no complex steps to perform. Many popular shopping cart programs include a method of configuring the "secure" url to use, check the documentation for your shopping cart software for more details. If you are using actinic and wish to use the shared SSL then please see the section "Setting Up Actinic With Shared SSL " |
